Writing Exercise #2

Describe an evoke a simple action (for example: sharpening a pencil, carving a tombstone, shooting a rat)

*click, click, whoosh*

My lighter flares to life. I hold it under my purple eyeliner pencil.

“M-I-SS-I-SS-I-PP-I”

*whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo*

Close left eye, hold lashes down with the first finger of my left hand. Pinky of the right hand balanced on the bottom lip of my open mouth. Very carefully I place the still warm tip of the pencil to the inside of my upper left eye lid and start to carefully glide it along the line of my upper lashes.  Opening my eye I blink a few times.  I add more liner to the outside of my eye before smudging it a bit with my finger for a smoky look.

Desired effected achieved.
