Here's Where I Stand on the TBR Pile Challenge
I didn't get anything read, but I did cross off my list any book that wasn't book 1 in a series I haven't read. I've got too many books on my list to mess around with trying to locate previous books since I try really hard not to read books out of order.

With any luck I'll be done with the backlist (minus Promise Me Tomorrow) by the end of November. I just have to finish the Dream Trilogy and then read the Stars of Mithra series.

    Not bad at all! I'm with you on marking out ones that aren't first in the series. Sometimes you've just gotta do that. Fingers crossed Promise Me Tomorrow will suddenly appear!

    I have a friend who's local library shows it as part of their catalog. She's going to see if she can check it out for me, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Peek Inside a Book - Becoming

Book Beginnings on Friday from  Rose City Reader   The Friday 56 with  Freda's Voice . This week I'm reading: Becoming   by Michelle Obama It Begins:   Preface March 2017 When I was a kid, my aspirations were simple.  On Page 56: This was the doubt that sat in my mind through student orientation, through my first sessions of high school biology and English, through my somewhat fumbling get-to-know-you conversations in the cafeteria with new friends. Not enough. Not enough.  It was doubt about where I came from and what I'd believed about myself until now. Nonfiction November: My Year in Nonfiction

Hosted by Sophisticated Dorkiness this week This week's prompt: Your Year in Nonfiction: Take a look back at your year of nonfiction and reflect on the following questions – What was your favorite nonfiction read of the year?
