It's Monday! What are you reading? - Go Set a Watchman

Title: Go Set a Watchman Author: Harper Lee Publication Date: July 14, 2015 Synopsis: Maycomb, Alabama. Twenty-six-year-old Jean Louise Finch--"Scout"--returns home from New York City to visit her aging father, Atticus. First Book of 2017

I went out and purchased this book the day it came out. I was so ready to read it, but before I could crack the cover people started with negative reviews and comments. I decided I didn't want to be influenced since like a lot of these other readers I was highly anticipating the novel. I placed the book back into my TBR Basket and sadly it just kept getting buried. When Shelia over at Book Journey (a new blog for me in 2016) announced her First Book - 2017 I was excited. Again, sadly I completely forgot to send in my picture for her post. Still here is my photo and I've cracked the cover and I'm enjoying the novel! #firstbook2017 #reading #harperlee A photo posted by Amelia (@litjrzygrl) on Jan 1, 2017 at 1:48pm PST
