October Month in Review

Book Club
For October we read Divine Evil by Nora Roberts. This is one of my favorite books of her and I was happy to suggest it and glad it seemed to be well received.

2011 Support your Local Library Challenge

This was a big month I checked out 13 books (as well as a few DVDs). One of the last ones I checked out was the Steve Jobs biography. This book is massive, I have no idea how I'm going to read it and write my NaNoWriMo novel in November.

I read one book this month and technically he was a cop so I counted it but he was never in a real uniform.

Blind Date with a Book

Last year I put together a book display called Blind Date with a Book. I found the idea through another librarian's post and thought it was great. Last year I wrapped 19 books and 15 books were checked out. We asked that people reviewed the book but unfortunately only two people returned reviews.
