Hello!


Since my main character is blogging her journey in life, I thought why not blog my journey in writing the book.

I am struggling with getting this novel started. I have notes and the idea but writing it is hard. I think part of the problem is the writing group I'm a part of is not understanding what I want out of this book and the format it is written in.

It's being written in blog format.  There isn't going to be dialogue and some of the formality of writing doesn't need to be there.  I'm also having trouble conveying the story I'm trying to write.  I don't know if it's the age difference or if my story is just that confusing.

This might all be in part because I'm not clear about what I want to convey. I'm going to stay positive and see if I can find where I went wrong with my start and hopefully I'll find my way.

Nonfiction November: My Year in Nonfiction
