My little twist to this --> I work in a library IT department. We have two offices separated by a section of the fiction stacks. Books are always catching my eye and I've gotten pretty good about ignoring them, other wise my TBR list would be HUGE. But these weekly memes give them the chance to see if the book would be worth checking out.
This week the book You Give Good Love by J.J. Murray caught my eye.
It Begins:
October 13
Only 72 more hopping days until Christmas....
Chapter 1
Hope Warren was depressed because she had nothing else to be.
And her feet hurt.
Her feet were depressed, too.
"Mes pieds font mal," she whispered in French, as appropriate a language as any for a depressed woman to speak.
On Page 56:
Dylan slipped around her but not before rubbing his hip against hers. "May I?"
Yes, you may. You may rub my hip with your hip. You may even rub your hands all over my body and put in me in the position that woman was just in. Where are all these thoughts coming from? I haven't had these thoughts in years. "Sure."
Verdict:
It's going on my TBR List!
