Book Blogger Hope - Week of April 6-12

Do you overextend yourself with too many reviews because you can't pass up a book in hopes you will get them all done or do you carefully plan and be sure you can fulfill the deadlines for all the promised reviews?

I used to, when I first became a librarian and got access to A LOT of arcs. I was always behind, and forgetting that I had requested and gotten access to some books.

I took a break, and I've just started back requesting books. I currently have access to 4 books, I've read 3, and have left star reviews for 2 of them. I need to write my full reviews before I request another book.

Blind Date with a Book

Last year I put together a book display called Blind Date with a Book. I found the idea through another librarian's post and thought it was great. Last year I wrapped 19 books and 15 books were checked out. We asked that people reviewed the book but unfortunately only two people returned reviews.
