It's Monday! What are you reading? June 18

So my plan is each Monday to update anyone who reads this on what I'm currently reading and what I may have finished in the last week.

Currently Reading:

Title: I'll Be Gone in the Dark
Author: Michelle McNamara
Date Started: June 16

Date Started: January 1
Note: Roof Beam Reader Read the Bible as Literature Event

Currently Listening:

Author: Ayn Rand
Narrator: Christopher Hurt
Date Started: August 23, 2017
Note: On part 7 of 7

Finished Reading:

Title: Doctor Who: The Lost Dimension Book One
Author: Nick Abadzis, Cavan Scott, George Mann, Rachael Scott, Adriana Melo
Date Read: June 14
Stars: 5 of 5
Review: What a crossover! Since it collects issues from other storylines it wasn't always perfect, but I enjoyed it too much to lower my star rating.

Title: Kim Reaper Vol. 1
Author: Sarah Graley
Date Read: June 13
Stars: 4 of 5
Review: Kim is a college girl just trying to get through her classes with a part time job. Typical story except Kim's part time job is a grim reaper. She gets into a bit of trouble when cute girl Becka takes a liking.  Things go over the top, but it was really fun.

Title: My Boyfriend is a Bear
Author: Pamela Ribon
Illustrator: Cat Farris
Date Read: June 13
Stars: 5 of 5
Review: So very cute! The author looked at her bf one day and was like he's kinda like a bear...and there you go the background to a very cute story.

Title: The Rogue Not Taken (Scandal & Scoundrel, #1)
Author: Sarah MacLean
Date Started: June 11
Date Finished: June 12
Stars: 4 of 5
Review: I really liked the story, Sophie was great. Didn't care too much for King and I felt like I've seen his broody back story a lot before.

Blind Date with a Book

Went to the 2013 NJLA Adult Services Forum...left with a book list.

Yesterday I attended the NJLA Adult Services Forum (don't worry you don't need to know what it is for this post) and while there attended one panel and spoke on another and walked away with a list of some new books to read.  Since I'm really behind in writing reviews I decided to just share these new books so I at least had a post for today!

The Marked Men series by Jay Crownover

Real series by Katy Evans

Vintage by Susan Gloss

I Love This Bar by Carolyn Brown
